Spring 2012 Sneak Peek!
Sketchbook
Hello!! I have been busy at work in my (freshly cleaned and organized!) studio working on the spring release. I thought I would share the first new card of the year!
There are so many times in our lives when things knock us off of our plan. We think we have it figured out or at least sorted in the right direction and then life throws us a curve ball. In the moment that can be devastating, or frustrating or at the very least, super inconvenient. This is a little reminder that our journey is a very different thing than our path.
This goes out to all of those journeys out there right now that are encountering a side road or two.
Crank the mix tape. Sing along, and make sure you enjoy the scenery.
xoxo
Would love to know your thoughts!

One question, my friend: how is it that you keep showing up with the right message just when I need it? Let me know would ya? Oh and thanks by the way. XO

Love this one! The orange paper for the camper is wonderful! Keep going with the secondary color theme. Orange and Green are so happy!

It’s perfect! As a recent college grad your cards and calendar are the perfect reminders to be optimistic about the future after a bad day at a less than ideal job! Thank you :)

It’s perfect. I may or may not have squealed just a little bit.

This perfectly sums up my view of life and the journey each of us is meant to travel (even if we don’t know it at the time)! Love it!!

I love it!! As soon as I read your words I thought I have to get this for my son, Timothy! He will be graduating from college in May and is filled with anxiety about his future. I know this card is probably intended for a girl, but the message is so true for all of us!...and besides Timothy knows how I LOVE Curly Girl so it will be perfect! Thanks Leigh!:)

Your timing is amazing. Life DID recently throw me a curve ball and it has been devastating. Thanks for the cheerful reminder that its all a part of our journey…planned…or not! Your work is amazing. I received your calendar for Christmas from my best friend which is how I stumbled upon you. I am ever so grateful that I did. I LOVE this and I love all of your creations. Keep us Smiling!

This spoke to my heart as I am going through this very thing right now. It was like this card was created just for me. When will it be available as I must buy it?

I have enjoyed your work for so very long and then to find your blog last year was awesome. You have inspired me so much, and your cards and magnets are yearly presents to others as well as myself. I love this new card, so true for life. The only request is that you consider adding more African American women to your cards. I loved your cards last year that featured me, but wasn’t a card i choose because of the text. Thank you so much for sharing your life!

Love this card! It sums up my favorite travel philosophy - and life philosophy, really, although sometimes it’s harder to accept in life vs. traveling. Thanks for expressing it so perfectly!

Love it! The only thing that would make it better is to use a motorcycle the next time… then it would be twice as awesome! And that would make it, I believe, astronomically super-nifty 200% over awesome!
Oh- other idea as i try to sort through my curly girl cards deciding which ones I can part with to friends and those in need (soo hard sometimes) - It would be cool if you offered “grab” bags of your cards where we could collect some random goodness for a bit of a discount and not have to choose (you can’ believe how long that takes) and have more curly girl card goodness available to share on a whim.
Thanks.

Love it! I’ve been on the side roads so long, I’m forgetting what that main path even looked like. :) Will definitely be sharing this card with friends and putting it up on the wall in my studio. Thanks for sharing!
